Here’s another one of my Tokyo compositions. This is based on a random photo of a rushing man in Akabane, a small city inside Tokyo (just like the Ginza was in the previous post). What are these images about? I don’t really know. I haven’t been doing any writing, other than some musings in my pocket notebook, and I simply like making things. I worked in advertising for years and, quite unconsciously, my personal images end up looking a bit like ads. I finished three of these. I’ll post the last one tomorrow. I’m reluctantly heading back to San Francisco on Friday. By the way, I can’t write Japanese. I asked my wife to scribble in a translation of my “headline.”
Maybe he's late for his appointment at some weird park that features fake trees and flowers.
