My name is Ruben Bix.

I’m a fiction writer and graphic artist in San Francisco.

This site was born on July 3, 2022 as a showcase for my novel, The Nature Preserve. Over time I’ve added a whole range of new writing. Scroll down to see some of what you’ll find here.

The Nature Preserve is a sci-fi/black comedy serial novel set in the not-very-distant future, with fifty (count ‘em) illustrations done by me. Check out The Nature Preserve.

Reveries is a disconnected series. Spontaneous and oddball, these stories sometimes distort the laws of physics as well as grammar. Explore Reveries.
